Low response to stims - endo the cause??

Hi,

I just went for my 1st u/s scan after 4 days of stims (on 450 iu of Gonal-F) and they found 3 follies only which are between 8-10mm. My RE said I'm responding poorly. He added another drug called Luveris (75 iu) hoping more follies will appear.

Question - has this got anything to do with the fact that I had severe endo? I had 4 shots of Zoladex post laparoscopy. After my first period I started IVF and was on down regulation drug Buserelin for 3 weeks before stims. Am I too down-regulated that my ovaries are all sleeping??

Hello,
My first IVf cycle was last month; it was cancelled due to poor response. On day four my estrogen was only 19 which is super low. We kept going with the stimming, but my ovaries just would not respond correctly. After 10 days, I had only four follicles, only two were mature. My estrogen only went up to 351. My RE converted my cycle to an IUI which, ended up in a bfn for me.
This month She completly changed my protocol. There are lots of things they can do, so try not to be discouraged and stress too much. I am convinced that stress is the enemy in this situatuion. Try to stay calm and ask questions.
What is your e2 level? That will also give you more info.
