I have a "help" question for all you BFPers!

Post by FaithHopeLove »

Hi!
I just had a 5 day transfer on Monday 10/22, transferring 2 perfect AA blasts. I was doing the bed rest thing, and on my 2nd day of bed rest towards later afternoon, I felt like what I can describe like cramps right before your AF arrives. It's like crampy pressure, very uncomfortable. I have had 3 previous IUI's and each one I cramped the entire 2ww with still BFN results. I called the nurse at my Dr's office, and she assured me that it's normal, and not to compare IVF with IUI, for they are so different. I am still nervous. I still feel them today, pressure, crampy etc. and it's lowering my spirits! I took Tylenol, which seemed to help a bit.
Does this all seem normal? I've always known cramps as a "bad thing" so to have this happen doesn't make me feel too good.
Any feedback is appreciated! And congrats to you all!

We're a mystery :(

I agree with Vlada...cramps, twinges, etc. are very normal thru 2ww. You have to remember your body is going thru so many hormonal changes. I had those crampy feelings thru all of my 4 IVF's and this last one worked. You really can't compare any cycle to the next because you just never know! The best thing you can do is think positively and not stress. Try not to over-analyze everything, I know that is easier said that done!! This 4th attempt for us I really tried to keep my mind on other things and really didn't allow myself to think anything but positive and we are now pregnant with triplets!
Good luck honey, take it easy...I can't wait to hear your news!!

Vlada and fulloffaith,
Thank you all so much for your advice, I appreciate it more than you know! I don't feel so alone like "it's only happening to me" now! My beta is 10/28 and 10/30, so hopefully you'll find me back on here with good news.
Congrats to you both!
