pains/twinges with treatment

hi i'm now on my 5th and started stims this week, in the past all my ivf's have given me most horrific period type of pain, every time i've mentioned it to a doc they have said its normal and each time it failed, has anyone else had this pain during treatment? i'm just praying i don't get it this time round as it causes me distress and i now the treatment will fail.
