egg recovery anyone like to share

going for egg retrevial on tuesday feeling a bit nervous as this is my first i have 24 folicles so ripe for hyperstimulation blood levels are looking good though, should'nt have read about all the after effects really worried looking for re-assurance

Hi Crunchy, don't worry too much, on my final scan i had 22 on one side and 18 on the other, and they got me to do a stim shot as well as my trigger the same night. I got 20 mature eggs and the only effects i had was a little soreness for a few days after transfer, no bloating or anyhting through the whole process. good luck next week you should get a nice number of eggs.

Crunchy, I'm right there with you! I have about 25 follicles that are almost ready, planning on doing trigger shot Monday night for a Wednesday ER. I am really nervous about OHSS but my nurse keeps reasuring me that everything looks fine. My estrogen was 4200 (approx, can't remember exact #) today. I feel very bloated and tender, how about you???? I have not taken any fsh the past 2 nights, just the luveris and lupron. Apparently they still grow anyway. Good look with your egg retrieval, I hope you get lots of great eggs! I'm right behind you.
