I can't quite believe this ......

Well, I did the test at 7.15am this morning and ............ it was POSITIVE! Paul and I just looked at it and couldn't believe our eyes! The positive line came up straight away (it was one of the clear blue tests with the cross), before the negative line even appeared - it was dark blue! Happy isn't the word - we're just absolutely stunned, overwhelmed, excited - all rolled into one! I spoke to the Clinic and I have my first scan on Tuesday 30th September at 3.00pm. They also gave me an EDD of 21st May 2004 - that seemed scary hearing that and they also said that I'm officially 4 weeks pregnant today, which seems really weird as ET was only two weeks ago!!! It's taken me until now to post cos it hasn't sunk in at all yet and I honestly didn't think that I'd be posting this kind of message after my first IVF cycle! Thank you so much for all your kind words and support throughout the past few months. When I think back to the first day that I logged onto this site, I was in a dreadful state - I had never felt so low in all my life. I know that I couldn't have got through it, let alone felt so positive without all of you so a huge BIG thank you from Paul and I. Can I officially join the ACB positives now??!! Jo I knew you could do it. AM really pleased for youu both Am just off in a minute for FET(really pleased as they thawed 3 & 2 good ones to go in so still have 6 in freezer if god forbid it does not work) Bet your nephews were really excited...Did they get up early too?? CONGRATULATIONS!! I can't believe it myself - I guess August was a lucky month. You and your dh must be absolutely thrilled! I'm so happy for you and wish you luck on your first scan - maybe twins?? Enjoy every second of it - LOL Catherine

Well done Jo and DH, absolutely fantastic news. All that heartache and desperation has been worth it. At times you feel you'll never get there, but your turn has come! And also well done to you others who have had brilliant news recently too. When you're all ready and its all sunk in, come on over to the other side. Jo Excellent news for you both. We have our 8 wk scan on Tuesday. We havent been given an EDD yet but we've worked it out as 27th April 2004. 21st May 2004 - couldnt think of a better day but I'm being biased as that is my birthday!! luv Bertie x
