Hi ladies,
We were very fortunate to have a baby after a brief stint with IVF. If we were to try again, we will mostly likely have to do IVF (due to my age, 39). I, however don't feel ready to go thr' a pregnancy right now for various reasons. I am wondering if any one here saved embryos for longer than a year with a good out come. We would like to wait for 2-3 years before getting pregnant again.
Thanks!
I haven't used them but we are freezing ours for more than a year. I doubt we would have been offered to store them for up to 7 years if they couldn't be of use to us. My SIL will be thawing hers soon and they are over a year old.
Good luck to you.
Take care~
Kimberly

I have 4 frozen embryos that will have been frozen for 3 years in April. I got pregnant though using a frozen embryo - so I know it works. Aloso I asked my consultant about whether Frozen embryo's deteriorate in quality after a certain amount of time and her said not at all. They are preserved and stay exactly as they were the day they were frozen.
He said I can keep mine frozen for up to 10 years. Vicky

Thanks Vicky, I am not 100% sure yet if I want to continue with an IVF as I would like to bfeed my son till he is at least one year old. I just feel like I owe it to him. It is good to know that I have options.
