Called the RE today because AF has been at it since 12/14 and still has not stopped while taking BC. I started Lupron injections on Saturday 12/22 and today was the last BC along with the Lupron. I was not due back to the Doc until the 28th for US and Bloods before starting to stim but when I called today to advise that that AF has not stopped, they asked me to come in on Wednesday 12/26 to be tested. They advised that since I have been having AF for so long that they may move my stimming up to 12/26 verses 12/29 because they didn't want me to end up with one dominant follicle. She said that they wanted many follicles.
Have any of you had this or can explain what might be happening. I would be so upset if they cancelled my cycle because my AF has screwed everything all up.
Any answers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hearyou are having concerns. I can't really offer much help as the drugs are all different over here but when I was on the supression injections (LUCRIN) my AF was all over the place....late one time, lasted one day another time and on the last cycle it lasted for well over the usual 5 days for me. I remember also being concerned. If you haven't started the stims yet, don't be too concerned. They may just push it back a few days before starting you on the drugs to grow your follies. They won't take any chances and it's better to wait it out than proceed and risk not getting as many mature follies as you could. You most likely won't be cancelled, they might just hold off on the stims for a bit longer til your body has sorted itself out.
Everyone responds completely different to IVF which is why it often takes a few cycles to get it right. Once they work out what works best for your body, you'll be on the home stretch.
I hope this has helped put you at ease a little. Unfortuntaley with ART, there is no diary or exact formula we can follow, it's all one day at a time!
Best of luck to you..
