New Years eve question???????

Quick question---I have had my Lupron shot last friday 12/28. AF has not returned so I have not started my stims. Does anyone know if it would be ok to have a glass of champagne tonight? It wouldnt be worth it if its a risk but wasnt sure b/c I havnt started anything else. Any know???

Hi Katie,

I drank right thru my IVF cycles and it made no difference whatsoever to my outcome. Didn't go overboard, a few wines here and there which helped me to relax and take the edge of the whole IVF process. If you're not stimming yet, then go for it! I only stopped after ET. Funnily enough my first IVF cycle I was pedantic about everything like we all are on here and by the time I got to the 4th cycle, I gave up the accupuncture, kept drinking, jumped around straight after ER and ET - and got my BFP!! I really think that after trying for so long for most of us, there's nothing we can do to control the outcome other than prepare ourselves emotionally and spiritually as much as possible. Others may disagree, but I didn't find wrapping myself up in cotton wool helped, just made me more crazy and obsessive

That's my 2 cents anyway. I put my success down this time to assisted hatching and a very naughty baby aspirin a day. If it's gonna work, it'll work....!

My RE said.... nothing but tylenol for otc products. He was very adament about no aspirin or ibuprofen.
