Hello to All

Post by ChristineDanielle »

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this site and figured it was time to get involved with an IVF decision. I am very worried and concerned about this, so many "what ifs' involved. I am a 37 years old, soon to be 38, I have been pregnant naturally 3 times and have had one successful birth. She is the love of my life and I am blessed to have her. The doctors call her my miracle, they are still trying to figure out how I got her. I have translocated chromosomes and if I do IVF it is extremely expensive because I have to do PGD. I just am very frustrated and upset and want someone to appear with a crystal ball and say "Yes, this is the right thing, this one shot will happen! Don't worry about it!" I guess if everyone had a crystal ball then we wouldn't need to be on a forum. Well, thank you for letting me vent my concerns and frustrations. :D

hi christine and welcome to the board!!!

congrats on your little miracle!!! its great to hear success stories like yours!!

why dont you come and join a thread in the general forum where you will be able to talk to other ladies (and gents) cycling at the same time as you?

unfortunately dont own a crystal ball so cant have a look for you. but its a big decision....i understand as insurance/nhs would not help us and we had to pay for both trys privately. and the fact it may not work is sometihng we had to take a risk on every time. the question for you i guess is whether your little miracle is enough to fulfill you. i know that many ladies on here have tried IVF 7, 8, 9 times and are still not holding their bundle in their arms. they would give anyting to just have the chance to have one!!! so you're blessed in many ways already and already have what many women on here would give their limbs for. but if you desire more and are willing to take a chance to fork out lots of money even though it may not work then go for it!!!

best of luck and hope to see you on the general forum!!
