Coloring hair and painting

Post by stephjim »

Has anyone talked to a doc about whether or not you can get your hair colored while pregnant? My regular hair dresser said she would do my highlights, but not put the toner on it. The highlights don't touch the scalp.

Anyways I am trying to switch back to my natural hair color or maybe a dark auburn because it is getting way too expensive to do the highlights every 8 weeks but I don't want them to grown out. That would look tacky on me. Plus my hair is naturally curly so it has split ends bad so it is hard to grown it out anyways.

And what about painting, like painting your walls. What are the rules on that?

Any suggestions?

My docotr said coloring your hair is fine as long as you wait until you are out of your first trimester!
