New here, 38, ttc#1, IVF#1

Post by dcresider »

Hi everyone, Im 38 and DH is 42. We have been married since 2004 and have been ttc since jan 2006, had a blighted ovum in 6/2006 which ended up in a D&C. We've been ttc ever since. RE diagnosed me with AMA and unexplained infertility. Because my FSH level was high (15.1), my RE recommended IVF as soon as possible. Started BCP for 2 weeks and finally began Lupron Injections yesterday and will begin stimming tomorrow.

Wish me luck.

Hi DC,

I think you'll find that this site is an excellent forum for support. I am in my 1st IVF- the dreaded 2ww, and the women here have been wonderful to help answer questions, abate fears and vent. The injections shouldn't hurt, I recommend you join either Jan/Feb cycle buddies or Feb/march cycle buddies it's a great way to keep track of your progress.

good luck for a BFP

cheers
