I know this is not normal practice, and I hope Im not breaking some code of conduct here. If I am please forgive me!
Ive started a group on Facebook thats specifically for all the wonderful friends that have met on here. Im not trying to take anything away from this site - this message board was a total life saver for me! But a lot of people are on Facebook these days and its a good way to keep up to date with people, successful or not, and thought it would be a good idea. I already have three of my Ivf friends from here linked as my friends on Facebook. Ive set it so that not just ANYONE can join - its specifically for us.
So if you would like to join then the group is called Ivf-Infertility Friends and I would love to see you all on there - regardless of what stage you are at (that goes without saying!)

Hope all is well with ur boys and that ur settling into fatherhood well (i have no doubt that u are!)
I have a facebook account, and would LOVE to join yours, BUT as members from my facebook can see what sites i have joined, i would rather they didnt (if u know what i mean) a lot of my friends and family there dont know about my treatment and i wouldnt want half of them to!
So, dont think i am ignoring u on there, i think its a lovely idea and i hope u get lots of friends onboard ....

Okay this reply made me laugh out loud so i just had to reply!
My twins are a boy and a girl.
Ive settled into parenthood well, but not fatherhood as I am a woman and therefore a mother!! They are now 2 1/2 so its been a long time since I was struggling with routines, although i think this stage is so far turning out to be the worst!
As for Facebook - I understand. I toyed with the idea of making it secret but then people wouldn't be able to find it and i would have to personally invite everyone. I'm personally very open about the fatct we went through IVF and am very proud that my children came from such a wonderful modern procedure - but not everyone is and its a very sensitive subject!

Oh hahaha! Sorry Toni - i thought u was Tony (the guy) who uses the boards - should have realised that the way u spell ur name - how blonde of me (wait for it, ur bonde too lol)
Its not that im not proud of having tmt, and should i get pregnant then i will tell people it's an ivf baby (due to the fact that i have been steralized and my family know this anyhow) its just a personal decision that DH and i have made, i dont want it known to others yet as its enough of a struggle for the 2 of us when it doesnt happen, let alone it being a struggle for in laws and everybody else to deal with. I didnt want u to think that i was keeping it a secret because i was in any way ashamed, cos im not - if i could shout it from the roof tops i would - just not yet, hope u understand ....
P.S - Oh the terrible 2's - i remember those too well (i have 2 kids from previous marriage) but it was a long long time ago - they are now going thru the 'terrible teenager' stage - i have 2 girls - one at 17 (going on 37!) and another one (soon to be) 20 (going on 12 lol) i can only advise u to enjoy them while they are that age, cos they soon grow up and flee the nest - thats the hardest part!

I completely understand and its your right to feel however you want to feel! You have no need to explain anything to me.
