Does ayone know what this is? I haven't been able to find any info online. All I know is that it's a pre-filled syringe.
Ganirelix acetate.
It's a GnRH antagonist, which means it stops you from ovulating by suppressing LH surges from your pituitary. It is FDA-approved for use in ovarian stimulation for IVF cycles.
I used Ganirelix for my ivf cycle when Lupron did not work for me. The syringes do come pre-filled so they are easier to use but the needle is bigger and not as flexible as the Follistim needle. This one burned quite a bit!!
