Missing ovary - anyone else had this?

Hi all,

I'm currently stimming for IVF#2 - just had my second ultrasound monitoring today. Everything's looking good on my right ovary, but the doctor couldn't see my left ovary. Same thing happened at my cycle day 2 check this month, and for my cycle day 2 check last month (I was on Lupron last cycle).

I didn't have a shy ovary for IVF#1, and haven't had any surgery or anything, so it IS in there. MY RE didn't seem concerned, and said this was not all that uncommon - but I don't like that they can't find it.

Anyone else had this experience?
