I will be starting an IVF with Egg Donor very soon! and i am a little bit worried about oversupression of the donor with the contraceptive pills. She has been taking the BCP for several months and her last FSH level was very low 1.4 (doctors said that it was due to the BCP and there was nothing to worry about). Before she starts the medication she will be with the BCP for 4 weeks (about 30 days in a row) and i wanted to know if that would over supress her and make her produce fewer eggs. Please let me know what you think about it and if it is fine to go ahead with the treatment or if it is better to wait for a few more weeks.
Thank you very much!!!

I'm not an expert or anything but I thought a low FSH was good? I took BCP for about 25 days before my IVF cycle b/c the clinic needed to add extra days to accomodate their scheduling. But I still started AF right after stopping and I responded well the the stimming...I produced 17 eggs and I'm 28. Personally I don't think it matters as long as the donor is healthy and young. My opinion though..

I don't see any problem with it. We always prescribe OCP prior to the cycle.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
