frozen embryo transfer question

Post by carebear110b »

Hello ladies! well i have a question for some of you, after 5yrs of trying and male factor infertility we did ivf, we have 9 frozen embryos left ad since giving birth to my son on march 11th, 2008 we have decided that after his first bday we want to try to do a frozen embryo transer and try for a sibling. does anyone have any success stories from the fet? and can anybody tell me what to expect? we had a successsful ivf on the first try and im hoping for the same results if thats even possible. i would just love to give my son a sibling any comments and success stories/advice are welcome thank you

Hi brandi,

I had a daughter from FET in 2007 and am pg with another from the same batch of frozen embryos. nowadays, the success rate of FET should be the same as fresh cycle, if not better. Hope this helps.

hi, I'm pregnant with 1 baby after transfering 4 frozen blasts. Some RE's success rates are even higher with FET. Congrats on your first baby, good look with your next one!

Hi

I had my son (who is now two) after my first FET. We thawed 3 embies and two survived and Oliver was born 9 months later! Good Luck. Vicky
