Hi everyone, I had my day 5 ET today and they transferred 3 morulas. I started with 11 fertilized eggs but by day 5, none of the embryos developed into blasts. the embryologist felt that it was better to be aggressive and transfer 3 morulas rather than wait until tomorrow when they should become blasts or rather than use our three "perfect" blasts that we have frozen from our previous cycle. During our previous cycle, we transferred two blasts and ended up getting a BFN. does anyone have any success stories of transferring morulas on day 5 and ending up with a BFP?? Thanks!

I just transfered 3, 5 day morulas on 7/17 and got my first BFP HPT on 7/25 (8dp5dt). I went for my beta on 7/29 and it was 330!! I go for beta #2 tomorrow. I will let you know how my number increase. I too was nervous and I was afraid that they were slow growing, but they stuck.
4fanops- Congrats on your BFP!!! That is wonderful! 330 is a great beta... can't wait to hear about the numbers increasing! We did a fresh cycle...I wonder how that impacts things. Do you know? The embryologist gave us a 60% chance of success this time compared to last time, when we had a 70% chance. I am just so nervous because things didn't work out last time with the two blasts and the higher chance of success. I am holding on to the embryologist's comments that they know I am capable of making blasts, so they are hoping these morulas will become blasts in my body today and will implant!!!
Jes77-Looks like we will be on the 2ww together, with our transfers being just a day apart. My beta is on 8/8, when is yours? Are you going to do a HPT? I am taking Endometrin suppositories (which I HATE), Vivelle estogen patches, prenatal vitamins, and baby aspirin. I am doing full bed rest today and most of tomorrow. Yesterday I went to accupuncture after my transfer, but other than that mainly stayed in bed. I am walking around my house a little more than I probably should. Our house has a TON of stairs!

I was told that an FET cycle may have a better chance because the embryos slowed from freezing might be more tolerant to the endometrium due to the lack of stimulation used in a fresh cycle. That is just what I was told. I do not know how accurate the information is. All I know is that this one worked and my fresh cycle didn't. Our RE gave use better odds of the fresh cycle working vs. the FET. Little did he know....
I had my beta #2 today and we are still waiting on the results. Our first scan is on 8/15. That seems so far away.

When we apply a method much like yours, the BFP rate is right at 90% (nobody will believe that, but hey, it's still true). With fresh embryos (day 5 morula), it drops to 50% at best. We figure it's the better endometrium in the FET cycle, undisturbed by ovarian stimulation. There are others figuring the same thing.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
