Ghost...Beta 55...is this ok?!

Ghost...Beta 55...is this ok?!

Hi anyone who can help me! We got a BFP yesterday and are cautiously excited. We transfered 2 "beautiful" embies and tested 9dp5dt. my HCG level came back 55 with my dr said was the low end of normal, but should be just fine. this seems low to me so I am concerned. Any advice would be very helpful!

Congrats on being pg! Do you go back in 2 days for another beta? They will be looking for it to increase by approx. 70 % (or double).

Yea the rise in beta is more important, but 55 on day 9 is definatly a BFP. Congrats and good luck on your next level.

Your doctor is correct. It's a bit low. Watch for it to rise rapidly.

Congratulations!
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Anything above 50 is good for my docs! And you tested a day earlier than we test our pt's, sooooooo Congrats! :D Your second beta will be more reassuring, but for now, try to relax and enjoy being pregnant!!!
I am an infertility nurse and I work in a major IVF facility. I am willing to answer questions and give guidance, however, since I am not treating you, only your physician can give you the most accurate information.

My beta with my DD was 50 and two days later was 130 - so the key is the rise factor. I was 9 dpt 3dt....

KUP on that next beta and enjoy your pregnancy!

thanks for your replies everyone! We just heard from the dr and our second beta numbers (2 days after the first set which was 55) are 175! We are so relieved! I think this looks much better! Kholtan: did your numbers go up dramatically after your 63? When did they suspect twins with you? (I am planning on a singleton which is fabulous...but of course I would love twins too!)

Congrats on the new #!! Mine went from 62 to 264, or something very close to that. They never told me they suspected twins or anything they just said it looked very good. I didn't know until 5 weeks along that we were having twins. Oddly enough, we thought it was two all along and there they are!
