Ghost or anyone - waiting for AF right after a failed IVF

Hi there ---
I had a BFN with my 1st IVF cycle on July 7th. My AF started on the july 8th.. my RE told me I would be waiting a month in between before starting a FET ... she said to call with my day one in August.. we both assumed my AF would come around Aug 5th and here I am on the 10th still waiting... my question is since I didnt take any meds at all in July wouldnt my AF come on time? I have blocked tubes (hence the IVF) so I dont think I'm PG but I am alittle concerned that it's taking so long. I'm very anxious to begin my 1st FET this month... Any suggestions for me would be great--- thanks !!

I think after an IVF cycle even though you've already had 1 AF your body can be a little off...I remember after my 1st IVF chemical..I waited about 10 days for AF and then the month after that AF was about a week late again. Give it a few more days I'm sure it will come...try drinking either peppermint tea or any candy with real peppermint oil (it's supposed to help AF arrive).

Hello. I too had a failed IVF on 7/07 and AF was due for me on the same day as you and I am still not seeing a period. I called my RE this morning and they are putting me on Provera which will induce my already late period. I have to take it only for 7 days. I am gearing up gor IVF# 2. I'm not sure if you want to induce your period medically, but I am ready to get back on the train!

I am going to be doing a FET next month well so we thought.. I'm so anxious to begin another cycle - i really hated taking this month off !

how come our AF are never late in our 2 ww?? hahaha
