vaginal inserts and spotting after bfp-nurse

After 3 vaginal inserts, i had some very light pink spotting today. I freaked out about it all day. The nurse said it was either the baby or the inserts but it makes me sooo nervous. Anyone else experience this after the inserts or just have spotting after a BFP? Ive had my 3rd beta and it was 4785.

Hi Kim ~

That very thing happened to me too! I ended up switching to PIO shots after being on the suppositories for 2-3 weeks. Apparently my cervix is very sensitive and the suppositories were really irritating it. You may want to talk to your dr. about the PIO shots, I REALLY recommend them over the inserts!

Yes I've heard of lots of women that get pink spotting after a bfp and during the supp ... if it turns red or clotty then I would be concerned and call ur doc.

I spotted (heavily at times) for the first 7 weeks of my pregnancy. I was carrying twins, and now they are healthy 18 month old boys. It's not always a bad thing. Good luck with your pregnancy : )
