Ghost/Anyone: Have any idea when I might trigger?

Hey ladies,
This is my first IVF and I am sure this question has been asked beofre but I couldn't find it.

I am on my 10 th day of stimms. Yesterday at 9 days I had 11 follies worth measuring- They measured;

L: 14.5, 13, 13, 13, 11, 10
R: 14, 9, 9, 9, 9

So far compared to allot fo you I am a turtle stimmer so Ive been told And I have a modest follicle count- SO can someone shed some light on when they think I will get orders to trigger???? Anyone like me out there?? Anyone have an opinion of how Im doing??? I see my RE again tommorrow, was supposed to see him Tuesday, but got surprise call today after mu u/s and b//w they want to see me tommorrow- I didnt tak to them but my husband did, so I guess I m concerened why they bumped me up, I hoope everything iss still going ok??.
How big sshould my follies get to anyway

My lst E2 was over 800, cant remmeber exactly but it was 800 and something

Hi Toobee...I'm back!

I'm a turtle stimmer too but I only have 4 follies. 1 @ 13/14mm, 2 @ 10mm and 1 @ 9mm. I have that lead follie that you don't really want to see. My E2 were 960 today up from 396 on Friday. They have not told me when I would trigger but I would think Thursday or Friday. You might trigger on Wed or Thursday. It really all depends on how fast the follies develop.
11 follies is good. I asked why I had so few and so slow but he couldn't tell me why.

I know it's a bit nerve wrecking but you'll get there soon. A few more days of shots and patience. I'm right with you...you're not alone.
You might find out tomorrow when you're going to trigger.
I don't go back until Wed!!! I wish it was sooner but it might be because of the tropical storm knocking on our door.

Good to hear from you again-How are you feeling??? Im gong to have to stay in touch-seems like we are on same schedule! i am sending lots of baby dust your way- BFP's for us both youngsers

Ya know , I read some books and thought I knew how this would work- but I feel stupid. Seems like I ratained zero-

Do you know how big the follies need to get- I read in some forums they nee to get to 20mm, thats seems huge and would require me a way to go-


I have been real bloated every since they increased my meds, i hardly pee but I dirink allot of water, retaining a good deal- uncomforabtle, but Ill take it f it gets me a BFP

I have read differant things about us turtles- some say slow stimmers get better egss- not sure- I have read opposite to that as well.

We have very similair numbers- you and I aksed about the lead follie but they said no- did your RE say you had a leader?

I also read sometimes they decrease the Lupron (or maybe I have that backwrdss) so that the other follies can catch up

Clinics vary in their triggering criteria. You could be triggered anywhere in 1-4 more days. My guess would be 2-3 days.

Med adjustments are very common. You're doing just fine.

The follies have to get to at least 18mm ( the bigger ones) even to 20mm.
Ireally hope I get at least 2 eggs out of these. I was much more nervous the first time, bummed out that I only had 3 follies and yet I always believed I'll be pregnant. I still believe that...I plan on defying the odds. I do think that the longer we stim, the better the eggs but you can't stimm too long or it interferes with endometruim receptivity. We should be just fine!!
I'm bloated as well, my tummy feels tight...feeling some pain where my ovary is.

Doing acupuncture has really helped me though, I'm much calmer inside and that's good.

Let me know what happens tomorrow.

I would be happy with two as well- more follies doesnt mean more eggs thats for sure- I am trying to be positive as well- I had a rough journey before IVF to begin with- But I am trying to remain chilled- This is my first IVF and I cant help but feel obsessive compulsive- If I hve to go through this agin, I imagine I will be a bit more chilled- all is all I feel like Ive done pretty good considering I feel in the dark and things are out of my control-

Don't worry, Toobee...we all stress about every little detail...it encompasses our lives. Everyday is filled with thoughts of IVF, babies, follies, embies, quality, symptoms, lack of symptoms and the list goes on.
Through this journey, I've learned to let go, to let nature do what it's going to do and enjoy every day that goes by. By stressing, all I will have done is making me feel bad and in the end what's going to be is going to be !!!

I would follow Valerie's advice. Don't stress over this. You do not have any control over what is happening. You are here just for the ride. It seems to me that you are doing fine. You might be a little slower but you have some good follies. I don't have any info on when you might trigger and have ER. I am wonder the same about my own cycle. I always forget to ask the good questions when I am on the phone with the nurse. Hope everything goes well, and good luck on ER.

Ugh I posted on the other big post for a us cycle buddies- but wanted to ask you directly since we seem to be similair stimmers, and age

What si up with my RE??? Seems like your RE is happy with your four beautiful follies, yet mine almost cancelled on me if I didnt produce more?? He then went onto tell me that my ovaires are acting older then me and he has concern about future IVF?

before this IVF, my last FSH was 6.9 with an E2 of 55. He said those numbers where pretty good when we started. But today he said he thinks my E2 was high enough to suppress my FSH level which he thinks is now higher then he thought because of how I stimmed -

So far I think my RE is greeat- Hes on top of things, but these comments today are news to me- and to frank not sure what to think, Maybe its just the way my day started out with the bllod and all- But at the moment I wish I ould start today over

I wouldn't be worried at all that they bumped up the u/s. That just means you are getting close and they want to keep and eye on you. I was told be my nurse that they follies grow 2mm a day. I'm not a doctor but based on the numbers you showed I would guess you would trigger in 2 days.

Hi Toobee,

I didn't see this post of yours until now.
My RE is ok with my 4 follies because I only have one ovary. But he told me that they don't cancel a cycle as long as they see 3 follies. Also, it might be the most I'll ever produce because of my age( 40 in Nov.) and my fsh is at 10 and my E2 at 34.
Read what I wrote on the Aug buddies thread. Don't think about your next IVF cycle, think about the one that is happening right now. You have a good chance of becoming pregnant now, direct your good energy towards your beautiful follies and your babies that they represent. I have four follies and somehow, looking at the US, I told DH that one or two of those is/are our babies.

What we you talking about at the end of your post, you have typos and I'm not sure what you meant. Were you bleeding this morning?

I really feel for you, I feel your distress but I know you'll be fine.

sorry about my typos- I need to watch that- No worries about the blood, sorry , I just had a we drama this morning with b/w

This morning I went in for b/w and they had to stick me three times to get any blood- upon the third try I grew white an proceeded to drench my clothing with sweat in a few seconds- seems like I had me a nice little anxiety attack. They said I wasd ehydrated, but I am drinking water like a fish- go figure

I asked the RE about all the water retention and bloating and he basically said these drugs shouldnt cause those kind of side effects- so I dont know, but I have never had this kind of bloating and water retention before- And allot of woman seem to share the same side effects so was surprised by his answer!

Overall I just had a rough day from the time I woke up!

Im ready to trigger Valerie!!! Im sooooooooooo reaadyHow about you??

Defintely looking forward to acupuncture tommorrow!
