Ghost / Anyone?? HCG Levels 7dp3dt

Post by brit1612 »

I had an hcg level of 4 yesterday at 7dp3dt. I know that the trigger is out, because my level was a 1 at 3dp3dt. I don't know what to think about this level. I am very happy that it went up, but I don't know if this is a really low number for this stage. Any info would be greatly appeciated. I just had a booster shot today, so I know when I go in for my next reading it will be really hard to tell anything. Thanks for any help.

It suggests you are pregnant, and probably you are, but it's a little too low and too early to be really sure. I assume they will test again in a few days?

At this stage it rises very quickly, more than doubling every two days.

Thanks. That's what I thought. I will be testing again 10dp3dt, but I had a booster shot the night I was tested last time. So, I don't really know what to look for.

Thanks again for all the help.

I don't know either. The booster shot will obviously make it rise, and the amount of rise for an hCG injection is not easy to predict (I've tried). Interpretation will be difficult.

Ghost- My levels came back today at 10dp3dt as an 84. I had a 2500 unit booster on 7dp3dt. I don't know what to think or if we should be getting excited. My last cycle was negative and the booster shots only made my hcg go up to about 50. (50 after two days, and around 30 after three days) It has been three days, and it does not seem like the levels would be this high still just from the booster. Any input?? I don't want to be reading into this if I am wrong. I will go back Tues. (14dp3dt) to find out for sure, but that seems like forever to wait. If this is a mix of booster and pregnancy is the number ok or is it on the low side? Thanks again for all of your help.

84 does seem suspiciously high for a 2500 IU booster 3 days ago.

I'd guess you are pregnant.

You might try the HPT trick, seeing if the line darkens over the next few days.

That is what I was thinking, but I wanted someone's opinion who knows what they are talking about. I really appreciate you responding so quickly all the time. It really is nice to be able to get some answers that are not sugarcoated.

Ghost need help 2!
Hello I was reading all of yours posts, good luck to everyone.

I did my first beta on thurday it came in 23, my doctor told me it was a little bit low, I did it again on Saturday it came in 32 and I did it again yesterday it came in 29 and no bleeding.

I don't know what to think or do, I live in Honduras and I went to Miami to do my ICSI, I've being calling them today but no response yet.

Ghost what do you think?

Thanks!

I just wanted to let everyone know that my clinics machine was messed up yesterday so I did not get to hear anything official. I will be going back tomorrow to find out for sure, and to see what my numbers are.

The clinic told me that for some reason their machine was running very low numbers. My HCG came back as a 52, which is positive, but lower than I was hoping for. She said that the numbers were for sure lower than they actually were, but would not give me any indication on exactly how low. Has anyone had a similar situation? I just don't know wether to think they were ten points low, 50 points,...??

Tita- how many days post transfer are you? Reading into these beta numbers is so hard, I would just listen to your doc. What are they telling you? Good luck to you, hope everything works out.

Thanks ghost. I do not have my numbers back from today yet, but this morning they told me that they re-ran the bloodwork and my beta came back as a 125! (14dp3dt) Is this an encouraging number?? Thanks for all the support from everyone.
