hello mary i hope you dont mind me leaving a message for you, congratulations on your positive its brill news.i bet your so excited.i have my et tomorrow and with you being a positive gal i wanted to ask your advice,did you rest for the whole 2 weeks, did you take aspirin as my clinic dont recommend it,did you have baths as the clinic say its an old wifes tale,did you eat lots of percy pigs,are they chocolate,i must try some.well done and best of luck with your marvellous pregnancy.

hi Lou I just sent you a message on your thread for Lorainne! Your clinic sounds the same as mine (lgi - Leeds), I asked them about taking asprin and they said it was an 'americanism' that had no proof it had any effect on IVF tmt. I got them to agree to me taking it anyway as it does no harm and therefore I thought worth a shot. 75mg Asprin each night with my Sanatagon ProNatal. I also asked about Baths, they laughed at me and told me the embies couldn't 'wash out', but I decided to take the advice of the girls from the site and avoided baths for the whole 2ww. I didn't eat ANY chocolate (caffeine) and also drank de-caf coffee/tea. I have to take full responsibility for the Percy Pigs craze, I have no proof they assist with IVF, but I had them as a substitute for chocolate (I have a very sweet tooth when pre-menstrual and knew I'd need something if not chocolate!!) Percy Pigs are from Marks and Spencers and they are little jelly type sweets. I think M&S should be giving me some sort of commission, I'm sure the sales have shot through the roof since September!! Try some, if it worked for Marycam (and me!) it could work for you too! I hope all goes ok with your ET tomorrow! love nikola.xx ps marycam I sent you a message on your other thread. Hi Lou I didn't tell my clinic about the aspirin, what the heck thought it couldn't do any harm as they said I could take paracetamol. Lots of lovely figs, no baths at all, and last time I didn't rest but went back to work, This time I rested for a whole week (within reason)felt much different from first time.
