Another Miscarriage...Question for Ghost?
My sister-in-law just had her second miscarriage today. Both miscarriages have been around the 11th or 12th week. This time they did an ultrasound earlier in the pregnancy and saw a heartbeat. What could be happening? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

The former might be determined, maybe, by genetically testing what are called "the products of conception" (the expelled fetus and placenta).
If it's not genetic, and it often is not, then I don't know how other causes might be identified.
We had one patient who had recurrent miscarriage. We did PGD on her and found almost all of her blastocysts were genetically non-viable. We transferred only those that passed PGD and she succeeded.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
