Hello everyone,
I've been reading your postings for a few months and found them very supportive and helpful.
I've just finished my 2nd unsuccessful IVF cycle and have been reading about reflexology and how it can help with infertility. Has anyone tried this, and if so, at what stage of your cycle did you go for treatments? also, did you have treatment whilst also having your injections?
My fist cycle failed due to lack of follicles so did not go as far as EC, but my second try, last month, produced 12 eggs after increasing Menagon dose to 600 units, but that cycle failed. I'm now willing to give anything (or at least most things) a try!
Good luck to you all,
Cathy
Hi Cathy

I didn't have any reflexology during treatment, although like you, i've read about it helping. I think as long as the reflexologist doesn't stimulate your ovaries during treatment, its fine. I think one of the major benefits of it is the relaxation and although relaxing won't make you pregnant (despite every "well meaning" person telling you that if you relax it'll just happen!) I think that if you're as relaxed as possible, it helps you cope better - and God knows its stressful enough!

If you're in doubt, speak to one of your ivf nurses at your clinic/hospital and see what they say. I'd say anything's worth a shot.

Good luck

Love

Rachel
x
