Question for ghost..

Post by natashamom »

Hello,

I`m going for IVF in December and wanted to know if there is any way I can do patches or vaginal suppositories instead of progresterone shots, isnt it the same effect?

Thank you.

Natasha.

There are no progesterone patches that I am aware of. I've heard it will not penetrate the skin. There are pills, but these are not very effective alone.

Many studies have confirmed that Progesterone can be effectively administered by vaginal suppositories or gels, and these work as well as the shots. Many clinics still prefer the shots, though. I think if you are adamant, they will let you skip the shots and use a gel or suppository.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Natasha-
I am sure you don't want to do the PIO shots( no one does), but they are really not as bad as you think.... I ended up with both crinone supps and PIO shots- I was prescribed lidocaine cream to numb the area so it didn't hurt too much-
however it works out, your REs will do what is best for you and your cycle, and wouldn't we almost do anything for the chance at a BFP?

best of luck for great success in December!

Hi, Just wanted to let you know, I am from the UK and most clinics use the suppositories as they are easier. I used them on all my cycles and never had a problem, as you can see i was successful.

Good luck
