What medicines can we take?

Hey. I am around 6weeks now and have this really bad cold and cough and was wondering whether anyone had any info on what over the counter medicines are safe to take. Thanks for any advise!

If I were you I would call my RE and ask.

BUT, I had the exact same thing happen to me when I was about 5 weeks, my nurse recommended regular Tylenol to start with, IF that didn't seem to be working much to go up to Tylenol extra strength or Tylenol cold. I actually never had to switch to the any of those, the regular one was enough. I didn't have cough, but I would have probably tried something natural like warm milk with honey. I was afraid of getting a fever, that's why I went straight to the tylenol. Call your doctor!

Thanks for the advice. My doctor ok'd Tylenol Sinus so been taking that. Though it is taking a long time for the cold to go away. I plan to aslo go and take my flu shot tomorrow. He said it was ok to do that.
