Travelling with Medications

Post by ann d. »

Hello,

I'm taking a trip in a couple of days and will have to take some syringes with me and Lupron. Anyone know if it is okay to take these medications with you in your carry-on? I did not want to check any bags and if I had to check any, would hate run the chance of having my luggage lost and medications, too.

Anyway, I checked the TSA website and it says it's okay for diabetics and those with medical necessities. That includes me, too, right? Do I need a doctor's note?

Hoping someone here has gone through this and can help.

Thanks in advance!

The first time I traveled I had a Dr.'s note, but did not need it. I have traveled many times since with my meds and needles with no problem!

I travelled twice with Lupron and Gonal-F. Both tiimes I had a doctor's note but was never asked to show it.

Thank you everyone for your input! You girls are the best! I just asked for a doctor's note just in case.

Have a happy Thanksgiving!
