Hi Everyone... just looking for some reassurance. I am 8w1d pregnant with twins. I was having horrible morning sickness until a few days ago. Yesterday I woke up with nothing and then last night felt naseous again and now today, I feel no sickness and I am scared after having a m/c last July. We just had a scan last Wed and saw two healthy heartbeats, but I am still worried sick as we lost our last twins at this same time! Anyone experiencing the same thing? I hate the ms but at least it tells you that you still have some beans in there I guess..
symptoms of a miscarriage are: cramps, low back pain, heay red blood w/ clots.
(and even there i had low back pain and heavy red blood and still did not miscarry)
your morning sickness is gone? thank your lucky stars!!! ENjoy those days and eat lots of protein and fats for the days when all you can eat are carbs.
Pregnancy symptoms come and go in the first trimester. and they change. you might start out w/ heartburn and queasy and then move on to constipation and bloating and gas and other charming things.
I know it's hard after IVF to trust anything .... after months or even years of everything that can go wrong, going wrong.
I had a m/c in 2007 and found myself on pins and needles for various reasons. Just check in w/ your doc. If they are dismissive, remind them you have miscarried and been through a lot and hope they will be patient if you are a little nervous. It's so common for all of us. It's why this board is better than those boards where everyone is yapping about buying stuff and telling eeryone. They don't get what we all have been through.
Congratulations and try to be positive ......
I even went to the ER and they TOLD me I was miscarrying (the bleeding above) and they left me in a room for 3 hours. My twins were fine. (when the ultrasound guy finally came) so - it ain't over 'till it's over!!!.
Try not to worry as it will come and go. But if you need peace of mind you should go back to the doctor. Better to be reassured than worrying all the time.
I had twins myself and never had one day of ms at all. So don't worry yourself just smile big and enjoy not feeling icky! No ms worried me as well but after I saw healthy hb's a few times I was just glad! Good luck to you! Congrats on twins as well. It's the best thing EVER!
