Hi, is anyone taking the Endometrium Vaginal tablets? its the most uncomfortable thing after that Oil part,
any clue how long after the Pregnancy test we have to take it???
i am taking two tablets every day and my biggest concern is, at least half of the tablet just falls out when i either go to the bathroom or if its not inside properly! i am very worried.
Hi San926,
I am currently 10 weeks pregnant with twins after IVF and have been on the
Endometrium Vag tabs for a very long time! Yes, part of them always seems to not dissolve, but each time I go in for my blood work, my levels are good, so not to worry! I take them every other day, 3 times a day and POI every other day as my body couldn't take the shots everyday anymore! We will be on the POI, Estrace and Endometrium until 11 weeks, but each doctor has their own protocol. Good luck,
Amy
thanks Amy27, i was a little worried as i am in my 6th week and i keep reading that till 12 weeks we have to be on the progesterone stuff.
i was on the shots and just recently switched to the tablets. and i panic everytime if a half dissolved one just falls out, the night time one's easy as it stays put!!!
are u taking two tablets at a time? the only reason why i ask this is because i am on it too & i only get a discharged which is about 5-6 hours after i put the first one in...i really dont mind the pill at all because i hated getting bruises on my butt & not being able to sit done straight....if i had to ever do this all over again i would do the suppositories right from the start...i am going to be 11 wks on thurs & i have been only doing one every other day....i am going for b/w on friday just to check my last number i think....so anyway good luck to u & your dh...keep us posted...big hugs to u & here is some baby dust to u....

Thanks for all the baby dust!!! and guess Amy27 and u are pretty closer in your IVF weeks!!! yayyyy!!! i am right behind!!!:)
Hi San!
I just started the suppositories a few weeks ago and HATED them at first! I almost wished we could go back to the shots. It seemed like, in the beginning, that everything just dissolved and came out.
BUT - it gets alot better. They get easier to put in and less and less comes out. I think your body just has to adjust to them. Now I definitely don't miss the pain from the shots, although I do the endo twice a day, too- kind of miss just getting the one shot out of the way in the morning.
Does anyone take them at specific times each day? We used to do the shots at exactly the same time but now, on weekends mostly, the times kind of vary. Does this make a difference??
yes, u are right, i hope it gets better with time! my doctor just told me to take one in the morning and before going to bed! so that kind of covers it up! My nurse is really supporting, she reassured me that the body gets the required amount of progesterone and not to worry with the discharges and dropping off of the half dissolved tablets!!! yes, i am waiting for this yuckiness to enddd!!!!
San926 - luckily my doctor gave me the option of keeping up with the shots or the tablets - I hate shots, but I just couldnt stand the thought of having to worry about whether or not the tablet fell out or if too much came out, so I am continuing the shots. Every night I do the shot I ask myself if I should have just done the tablets, but then after the pain subsides I tell myself only 3 more weeks of this and that is done.

yeah, sometimes now i wonder why i switched from shots to the tablets, but the pain was really too much soemtimes with the shots!!! and secondly i had no clue about these tablets, so i actually tried to take the easier way around!!!!:) did not realize the pains of the tabs then!!! but yesss, i am counting everyyyyyyy day closer towards stopping the tablets!!!:)
I hated those tablets, but I also tried to put them way way way far in so they would not fall out.
This time I opted to do PIO till week 10. I hated those tablets! The shots do not bother me now that my friend showed me I was injecting too low. Now I rarely have any sore spots or bruising!
