Jackpot!!!

Post by Fluffypuppygal »

Hi Guys!
Department stores are being good to me right now! Thought I'd pass along the tips in case anyone else is looking for these things, and maybe return the favor...
I was at the mall, and JCPenny's had clearance onesies and sleepers going for about $2-$4 a piece! (I got a $45 snow suit for $5!) $35 later, and I have about 15 pieces of baby clothing to get us by until next January!
Over at Babies R Us, I got a $140 crib set (bumper, fitted sheet, curtain, diaper bag, crib skirt, and quilt) for $20! Yeay!!

We bought the crib and changing table earlier online for 50% off, but we still need a few things... (Can't hurt to ask, right?)

Car seats - We need two. Does anyone have any leads on where to get a deal on good quality new seats?

Crib mattress - Same thing (but we only need one).

Breat pump - New, or used with new parts? (I work 12-hours shifts, so going "au naturel" is not going to be an option for me.)

Anyone have any leads or ideas?

I have been watching for car seat deals too, since I will need to upgrade ours soon. Babiesrus just mailed me a coupon for 10% off any car seat. They also have some online clearance and an extra 10% off when you spend $100 or more in clearance. You said you need 2 cars seats? From your tag, it doesn't look like you are having twins, so if you say 2 cars seats, one for each car. then just get a seat that comes with a base, and buy an extra base for the other car. That will be much cheaper than buying to seats. I have that setup and it is also easier to just snap the seats in place instead of messing with the seats belts everytime. I will let you know if I come across any other deals.

Good job on the clothes deals...watch for Sears and Kohls too. Last year when I was pregnant, I bought christmas dresses at kohls for 90% off, got $30 outfits for less than $3.
