Injectable meds- which ones work better???

Hello everyone- i need some opinions on meds that you all have experience with.
I know every Dr. uses different protocal-
i've had my first iui w/ injectables using gonal f 150iu per dose

I my follicles didnt grow at all....

so anyone have advice about other meds they have taken??

My infertility is unexplained- non-ovulation

It may not be the drug but the dose. My RE prescribed Follistim for my IVF but my insurance company only covers Gonal-F. My doctor didn't have a problem switching it. I could be wrong but I think she said they were the same drug chemically, just different manufacturers.

150iu is the minimum dose in IVF for high responders like me. If you're not a high responder then I'd guess the dose might need upped.

Crystal, you probably will just need a higher dose but the doc should have been monitoring you and increasing your dose if you were not responding. So you many need a new doc.

Yes, follistim and gonal-f are essentially the same thing.
