First IVF.....

Hi All!! I am going through my 1st IVF so this is my first time on the board. We have male factor (hubby's sperm count is low and also high concentration of white blood cells) but doctor's think IVF will work!! I hope so too!!

Anyway - started lupron 2 weeks ago. For anyone who is wondering, I was surprised, shots are not bad at all. I went for my first vaginal ultrasound today and nurse commented that my ovaries were small. She also said I had at least 12 follicles but I'm concerned about the small ovaries. She didn't seem alarmed and almost said it in passing but now of course I'm reading all these things that say it could lead to IVF failure or even a cancelled IVF. She didn't give me any indication that was the case but I'm worried about this whole process so now it's on my mind. Anyone have any insights??

We are dealing with male factor too...about to go through our second ivf. Our first was successful and we have a beautiful 5 month old daughter! I hope you have much success too.

You should come and introduce yourself on the jan/feb/march cycle buddies. There are a lot of ladies there, on similar schedules as yours...and the more the merrier! Hope to see you over there!
