Can anyone recommend a great IVF clinic in the north east. I currently go to Boston IVF but I just don't know if I want to continue there. They don't vitrify the embryos, which I know is the best method of freezing them. They also don't letter or number grade their blasts. I got pg w/ my first IVF w/ them but have since done 3 FETS, with only one embryo sticking but ending in m/c. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I prefer NH or MA b/c I live in Maine.
I go to Reproductive Science Center. I feel they are great. This will be my second IVF with them. First IVF in NY:BFN, 2nd with RSC: BFN, 3rd will be with RSC again but my RE is performing genetic testing and an endometrial biopsy to see why pregnancy is not happening. I say meet the doctor and see if you like it.

June '11 natural BFP sadly ending in miscarriage :(
I think Ghost posted on here that there are only a small handful of clinics that actually vitrify embryos. I got pregnant on a 6 cell nongraded frozen emby, so you never know. Once they thawed her again she started growing like a champ. Good luck!

What about SIRM. They have 2 offices in New York and 1 in NJ. They have been vitrifying for a long time. You can go to their website haveababy.com
and post questions to the docs. Free to register and post. You can also schedule a free consult via phone or in person.
That has happened to other people too. But the registration eventually went through. I can't remember if it took a few days for mine or not. Don't give up. It is a great resource site if nothing else.
I live in RI and went to both RSC (Reproductive Science Center) and Women and Infants in Providence. I have good things and bad things to say about both places.
I know someone posted that they really liked RSC. I think overall, they weren't bad. The nurse in Providence was a nightmare to deal w/, which really made my whole experience there kind of a negative one. It's amazing how one person can leave a bad taste in your mouth. I thought most everyone else I dealt w/ at RSC were pretty good, although they were much more of a "baby" factory and less accomadating in certain areas than Woman & Infants. (For example, at W&I, they wouldn't make my husband give a sperm sample in the beginning of a cycle. if something "came" up where he wasn't able to make it, then they would let him do it a couple of days ahead of time. W/ RSC, it was really complicated and I think they made it more difficult than necessary. We ran into a situaion where we almost had to give a sample at the last minute and RSC was really difficult about it. But in the end, it worked out. Thank goodness we never had to freeze anything ahead of time, but w/ my husband's job you just never knew. I don't know if RSC was trying to make $$ off of this, and thus required it at the beginning (it's not covered by insurance) or what the deal was, but they were very inflexible about it. If we didn't have to do it, we didn't want to do it--especially if they charged for it--it was just always a last resort. My nurse in Providence got a lot of things "wrong"--forgot to call me the night before my egg transfer--had to finally page someone to find out that it was a no go. Another time she ordered me a drug that wasn't covered by my insurance--we even discussed that-- when I reminded her on another cycle NOT to order me that particular drug, she left this long message about how it wasn't covered by my insurance so she couldn't order it for me (I was like, huh?--did she even listen to the message). Another time she was almost arguing w/ me that another drug was not covered. I went home and called the insurance and guess what it was covered. Yet another time, she faxed my order over to the wrong pharmacy. When I asked her why she would do that she just said that she forgot and it was a mistake (this was on my very last cycle--so it was like it was new to her). I had also asked about talking to the doctor about acupuncture and I think she basically gave me her own opinion. But other than that nurse, I really liked the doctor and the other staff. The staff in Providence (except for the nurse) were very helpful, pleasant, etc. I can't say enough about the other people in the office. Also when I went to Lexington, the people there were generally nice. Whenever I had to page someone or if someone else was calling instead of my nurse they were all very pleasant and answered all my question.
Women and Infants, I generally like the nurses. I would say the biggest negative w/ that place was since it's a big hospital, sometimes the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. I had some instructions that were contradictory--ie in the morning one nurse called to say to start bcp and in the afternoon another nurse called to say don't start bcp. Another time, I dropped off paper work, and then was called w/ instructions as to what to do, then a few days later, I would get a reminder call to drop off the paperwork. Wasn't too fond of the doctor.
In the end I wasn't really totally satisfied w/ either place for various reasons. don't get me wrong--both places had positives. But in the end, they seemed more worried about their stats.
I thought about going somewhere else, and put a post up asking the same info as you. 2 that came up w/ Ghost and some people who used the facilities were UCONN (but later I found out from my DH who knew someone who went there who wasn't happy w/ them) and Cornell. If you search under my username--kbat--you may find when I posted a topic just like you and you can read it. It would have probably been about a year ago--that was when I had my last cycle in Feb 2007)
I "bumped" that topic to the top for you to check out. Don't know how old you are, but there's some really good information that people posted there regardless of the age.
