Had my second u/s yesterday (6 weeks pregnant) and the good news is that the embryo more than doubled in size. The not so good news is that the sac is 2 mm shy of where it should be (a bit small) and the heart rate was 98 (still).
Doctor said to remain positive - that anything can happen and we are one more week closer to the end of the first trimester. Moreover, as long as we see a heartbeat, we cannot do much about this anyway.
The funny thing is that last week they told me that the sac was small and the yolk sac was a bit large. Yesterday, the yolk sac was normal. This pregnancy has been so stressful - I am trying to avoid doing more internet seaches that tell me gloom and doom is near.. .
Anyone have a positive small sac stories to share?
