I don't know about anyone else, but for the clinic I go to, my husband has to sign consent forms.

Hi Liz. Same here, hubby had to sign consent form. Maybe I do not understand your question though. What have single women and lesbian couples had to do in the past?? I did do a google search and found where women in the uk can now name ANYONE as the father. Is that what you are referring to?

This type of question/request has come up before on this message board -requests for help with "research" papers and journalism articles. In general, that's not what this message board is intended for. It's for women, men, couples going through the experience of IVF.
I would be very cautious in responding to this person.
