I have a question for anyone who can help I am 7dp 3dt and my estrogen is only 73 on Monday it was 407 what would cause this drastic drop? I did this last cycle and it was a BFN? My nurse increased my dose from 2mg a day to 8mg and tells me not to read to much into it my PIO is 32. Do you think this is another start to BFN my beta is the 20th and I dont think it will raise it before then. Don't you need to be above 200 for early pregnancy?

A drop at this point is common enough.
You probably had an hCG trigger. hCG lasts about 10 days in most patients, and acts to keep the corpora lutea alive and producing progesterone and estradiol. By now your hCG shouild have faded to near zero, and hence your corpora lutea are decreasing estradiol and progesterone production. Hence the level could fall.
If an embryo implants, it will produce hCG and, if the corpora lutea are still alive, might cause estradiol (and progesterone) to rise again. Otherwise you would depend only on supplements for estradiol and progesterone. That is also common.
Ghost Thank you for reply if this is so common why are more women not tested before beta? I would think with a drop like this and no support at all would result in BFN. My other question is do you think my level was low to long could this cause implantation problem or did I cry my eyes out all day for nothing because this actually has no bearing on the outcome of my cycle when my levels can rise again.
ohhh and yes you were right I did trigger with 10,000 units hpt at 6dpt so it took 9 days for it to get out of my system

Some protocols rely on the hCG to keep the corpora lutea alive. Others don't rely on it, so instead they give progesterone (and often estradiol) supplements.
Whether the estradiol level is important at this particular point is a controversy. We supplement the estradiol to try to keep it above 200. Some others don't bother with it. I don't know how much it matters, if any. I have seen reports say that it is irrelevant to outcome, but some docs don't believe that.
I had my embryos transfer May 11th and I'm due for my first blood test soon. I'm a bit nervous because today I started feeling bad lower back pain along with a bit of abdominal cramping (which as been ongoing since the transfer). Is the lower back pain considered a common symptom during the 2WW? Many thanks in advance for your insights.

Very common side effect of progesterone supplements.
Lots of women have thought they were not pregnant because of cramping and such, when actually they were.
