Blastocyst Cycle

Post by vicky1707 »

Hi Guys,

Me and my husband are in the middle of our 4th cycle of IVF/ICSI. Our IVF Unit have changed their ways of treatment for couples under 35 and now they use Blastocyst and only transfer 1 egg. I had Blastocyst with frozen cycle but it didn't work.

I was just wondering if anyone has had this type of treatment with a fresh cycle and any helpful info?

Best wishes to everyone x :D

Hi Vicky,

I had a fresh blastocyst cycle but had only 1 blastocycst which was fully formed. I had 2 put back but the other embryo was not a blastocyst as it was not at that stage yet.

After so many previous attempts, this is the first time I went for blastocyst and I am happy to say that I got a positive result..The previous clinics I went to had very strict protocals and did not take the embies to blastocyst. .Remember it only takes one to make all the difference..I would fully recommend it.

Hope this helps.. Good luck...

Hi Sita,

Congratulations on you BFP!! :D

Thanks for your info - that's given me a LOT of hope for ours working! We'll only have 1 egg transferred - our Unit has changed its policy for couples under 35.

Me and my husband feel that this time it's our time - everything is different. As people tell us we only need ONE! :D

Thank you again. Best wishes x
