I am almost 8w now. The pregnancy was pretty good through 6w after IVF procedure with just two little spottings. But I started bleeding two days after my first sacn which said baby's heartbeat was pretty good. It lasted two days, stoped one day and again on the 4th day after 1st sacn, and then stoped.
My 2nd sacn was good though. Dr said heartbeat was still good, only the size is a little bit smaller than what is suppose to be. But they found another empty york sac, and probably the bleedings was caused by this unhealthy embyro. Now I start bleeding again.
Could anyone tell me how heavy the bleeding you ever experienced with good outcome? Is anyone has similar situation to me? Is that possible the second embyro get developed well?
I have been experiencing heavy bleeding off and on went to the ER heartbeats were good and they did not know where the bleeding was coming from. i am going back tomorrow and see how y babies are doing and hopefully they know why I am bleeding off and on. They say bleeding is common in early pregnancy so it might not be much just have your doctors monitor you carefully.
I too have been having this yucky bleeding crap (brownish sludge is what I callit) but had my 2nd U/S this week and both little ones are fine. My doc said this is normal especially since there is a ...hemmorage (forget the exact term) but she joked that I may have it weekly. (that's what has been happening for the past 3 weeks) Now I just wipe and go without the panic. Yes it is a PIA but as long as the little ones are ok... so am I .
Thank you for your responses. My next U/S is next Wed, I wish everything will be fine. Hope you guys are doing all right too.
Another question, do you completely bed rest when you have bleedings/sopttings? Looks like I only have brown spottings in last two days, I am not sure if I can do some light housework.
There are quite a few ladies having bleeding issues. I have Subchronic Hematoma and it looks similar to what you described...like a 3rd sac in my case. I had a bleeding episode (bright red blood and clots) about 2 weeks ago and have been spotting brown blood ever since. Babies are doing fine and doctors say it will be absorbed by my body or I will continue to bleed/spot until it's gone. I'm no longer phased by the spotting and probably wouldn't freak out as bad as I did the first time if I started to bleed again. I'm finding more and more that it's a common thing.
My OB was totally convinced I would be fine and bedrest wouldn't help or hurt. It was up to me. They did put me on pelvic rest (no sex) for 3 weeks though. I took a day off work after the heavy bleeding but with the spot I carry on with normal activities. Everyone's different though...listen to your body and your OB!!
Good luck!

Right now I'm 14 wks 3 days. I'm not sure how long it will take to absorb the "sac". I have another u/s this Thursday and they will measure it again to see if it's gotten any smaller. Right now I have a little spotting just about everyday. But it's literally like a few drops of old brown blood. I haven't had any bleeding (red blood) since that one night...thank goodness!!
How have you been doing?

I am 8wks and 6 days pregnant and last saturday I had spoting brown mostly. I went in for an u/s and both babies were doing well they had strong heart beats but they did discover a 4mm hemamtoma which they told me it was very common. I was put to bed rest and I am still on bed rest untill monday when I see my obgyn I have another u/s tommorow to see how the hematoma is doing. I had brown spoting, sat, sun some mon, no spoting tuesday, wed , thurs. I hope it will stay thta way.
I hear it is very common although it is defenitly scary
hopeing everyone is well

i've also just wen to the doctor's with a bleeding episode and cramps. he did an U/S saw the sac and a subchorionic hematoma (he called it blood clot) next to the sac. He asked me to stay on restricted activity for 3 days and i see him back first thing monday morning. he said it could go either way - resolve and not harm the sac or god forbid engulf the sac with it. anyway - i am taking it easy on the couch over the weekend.
