I had my second U/S today and was able to hear the HB. HB was 118bpm. It was great to hear but the doctor now has me concerned. She stated that the gestational sac was not as round as normal and I am measuring 6w1d and I am 6w5d today. Anybody have any similar story? Should I be worried?

At my second u/s I was measuring I think 3 days behind where I "should" have been, with a hb of 117. I don't know much about the different degrees of roundness, that's not something I have heard of before. But I am now 21 weeks along with a healthy baby boy - and my belly is measuring 1.5 weeks ahead of where I "should" be! So don't put too much importance on what those measurements tell you. Focus on that strong little heartbeat!

Thanks for the replies. I am trying to focus on the HB and that is what my nurse had told me to do as well. She was encouraged by the HB, the betas and didn't mind that I was measuring a few days behind.
OBTW-I had to change my logon.
