1st Period after failed IVF

Hi Girls, I just signed up but have been reading for a while and you seem like a fab group of knowledgable women

My name is Sarah and we recently did our first round of IVF, It failed which we found out on 15th June.
I have just received my protocal for my FET but they messed up all the dates getting me excited and then very let down again.

From experience was your 1st period after your failed one on time or really messed up. I bled 3 days after stopping progesterone and im now wondering if i should expect a 28 - 30 day cycle as normal. I havent tested for Ovulation as i wanted to take a wide berth this month.

My FET hangs on when my period starts obviously.

Your experiences woulod be much appreciated

Hey Sarah! Welcome! After my first fresh cycle with a BFN, I started 2 days after. I'm not exactly sure how the clinic time their cycles, but that was my regular time for AF anyway. After my FET, I stopped the meds and started AF 3 days later. Not sure if you how your cycles have been in the past b4 IVF, but I wouldn't think it would be much different. So hang in there. My Afs have been very regular. The longest i ever go is 32 days and i think that was only twice in the last 19 months. All my assisted IUIs and IVF pushed my cycles around a little some as short as 25 and some a bit longer and i had what seemed like a normal bleed after my BFN which was slightly delayed by the progesterone.

I guess i need to just sit and wait and see if she arrives on CD28 this month. I would really like her to show up then as the timing is good. I really dont want to wait until September to do my FET

I know the feeling of having to wait. I'm waiting on my second cycle after the m/c so I can start again. We go to the Dr. today and I'm going to double check that I can be in the August cycle.

I'll do the AF dance for you!!!
