I had a IVF ICSI procedure done and we had 5 GRADE A embryos. By day 3 we had two embryos that divided into 8 cells and 2 embryos that divided into 6 cells and 1 embryo that divided into 5 cells.
We had a day 3 transfer done (3 embryos). 4 or 5 days after the transfer was done, I started getting a discharge (once a day) which is light pinkish in color. It happens once a day... This morning, the discharge was dark brownish in color and similar to the start of a menstrual cycle (light spotting).... I have a HCG blood test due this tuesday (7/28/09) but I am confused and scared as to what is happening...
Has anyone experienced such a thing.... What does this mean...??
Yes what Dogzrule said, this could be a very good sign. We also just did IVF with ICSI (our beta is also the 28th) and I have been waiting to see some spotting as a sign of implantation but have not seen it. Not all women get it as a sign of implantation but sounds like good things for you, good luck on Tuesday. -Kasey

On wed still spotting brown, i got a Positive beta of 32. So i really want to stop my meds cause from past cycles my beta just gets lower... I went to take a second beta on friday #113. I've always heard that the spotting during implant is normal. I'm glad I read this though, because if it happens to me I would have worried as well! When you go through something like this you just get so worried about the tiniest things!!!
I wish you luck sundar! It sounds like you've got a sticky in there!
Babygurlsolages, this sounds very promising for you!!!!! I hope it works out well.
