should I worry????Ghost/ Anyone??

Post by brit1612 »

I am 7w1d and I have had three previous miscarraiges. This is the best situation we have had so far, but I am having some brown spotting. I went into the office today when I realized I was spotting, and the baby was measuring perfect and had a bpm of 163. The nurse could see some blood on the ultrasound and said that it is usually nothing to worry about. I feel confident that everything is going well, but can't help but worry some with our past history. I would love to hear if anyone has had similar situations and how they turned out. Thanks!
After 7 attempts (2 negatives/3 miscarriages), we have TWO miracle boys!! If you would like to hear our story, please visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info. Never give up, it can happen for you!!

brit, I had no spotting and then a sudden ton of bleeding at 12 wks and even passed 2 large clots. I thought the worst of course but babies showed up fine on the u/s. They were able to find the bleeding in my uterus on a u/s and also told me not to worry and that I'd either continue to spot/bleed until it was gone or my body would absorb it. I didn't have any spotting afterwards and it completely disappeared from the ultrasound within a couple weeks. I'm currently 20 wks and haven't had any bleeding since :) I know of a couple other ladies currently pregnant who have had some bleeding/spotting scares and are still pregnant with no complications.

Congrats on your pregnancy!

Hey cymplicity,

Quick question. Did they ever tell you how big your hematoma was? I had a major bleed at 10wks similar to what you described, and nothing since but on u/s the subchorionic hematoma measured 6cm which is considered large. Just curious if you knew how large yours was.

Thanks!

MedStudentMom2B, I'm not sure of the exact measurements but it was rather large. It almost looked like a third sac! The clots that I passed alone were about 1/2 dollar coin sizes each.
