Question about HCG after a BFP

Post by Path Finder »

So I had my HCG test today and got a BFP! My RE did say that my HCG level is 6 which is a little low. He will check it again on Monday to see if it increases. Has anyone else had this experience? Should I be concerned?

In my experience my betas that were that low were chemical pregnancies. However, it is possible to go to live birth with a starting beta that low. They are more concerned with how it rises. I hope yours is just a late implanter.

Best wishes.

Hi Amanda. I had a Beta of 6 as well but ended up not rising and I ended up having a chemical prenancy. However, when this happened I had several other women comment on how their level was low but everything turned out fine. You're in my thoughts!
