is this bad?

Post by dolo977 »

please be honest in your opinion. I am so upset. So I am still spotting/cramping but told not to worry too much because my levels are rising: 32.5 to 372 to 1032?? Anyway I went today, my level went up to 2014 and my progestrone is 21.2 but the problem is it did not double. So I was supposed to have my first U/S next monday, they moved it to tomorrow. I had two blasts transferred so I am assuming this is not looking good for either one? I am so heart broken.

Well I am not a medical professional, but my honest opinion is that 1032 to 2014 is pretty darn close to doubling, and the levels are only supposed to "approximately" double every two days. I know how stressful the bleeding can be. At least you have the benefit of knowing you have those rising numbers - my office only did two beta tests so once I started bleeding heavily I had no kind of back-up confirmation to give me hope. You have to keep hoping until you get proof otherwise, and I think those numbers look pretty good.

Hang in there!

My RE said when we went thru our cycle that as long as it was up by 75% that was great. It does not need to double completly to mean you have a healthy baby in there. One of my scores went from 532 to 867 and the next was way 1900+ she knew I was worried and moved up my sono to mostly to put my mind at ease I think. She was right I have a healthy lil 1 and a half cute monster here. So best of luck!!!

So my u/s today confirmed that I had a M/C last night. I was almost 6 weeks along. As much as I am hurting, I am trying to stay positive.
