I have to admit, i'm curious about it too. My feeling is that we have to beware of people that try to take advantage of women who are very emotionally vulnerable when they are trying to conceive. I think that since it's only $40, you don't have a whole lot to lose, but just be aware that there are a lot of people out there targeting us to make money who don't have our best interests at heart.
About a month ago, before I had my first IVF, I decided to try acupuncture. I went on the web and I found a website that I thought was speaking to me! I called the place and made an appointment and they even wanted DH to come with to the initial meeting. The meeting was two hours long and she did a whole health history on us. Then she broke out the Powerpoint presentation. By the end of the PowerPoint, I was convinced that in order to have a successful pregnancy, I would need acupuncture for fertility and then for the entire 9 months of pregnancy (to make sure I don't miscarry). Then she told us that we would have to pay in advance for my first 4 appointments that she wanted to squeeze in all in 1 week. For $500! Needless to say, I left the appointment and didn't end up booking the appointments that she wanted me too. But the worst part was that I left in tears feeling like I wasn't doing everything I could to have a baby. People like that are not interested in our happiness. They are interested in making a profit and will do anything to try to make a buck.
Just my thoughts.
