Hi Wishful27,
I'm the one who has 2 sacs and only one heartbeat. You wrote me one time. So I went today for my second u/s and still only 1 heartbeat. The other sac is growing nicely but still no heartbeat. I am 7 weeks, 6 days. The doc said the sac was harder to see as it was farther away form the ultrsound instrument. My question is: When was the first time you saw the second heartbeat? Did you have u/s's biweekly? Any info you could give me I would appreciate.

I have only had 2 scans things work slightly differently in the UK - my first scan was at 7w3d when we saw the 2 sacs and heard one heartbeat - and then did not find out it was twins till 12 week scan - we both just assumed that there was 1 baby in there as only one heartbeat so was a real shock at 12 weeks to hear and see 2 healthy heartbeats!

I now have to wait until 20 weeks for my next scan

Thanks Wishful!!! I'll keep you posted. I have another ultrasound this Friday. It must be really hard to wait so long between ultrasounds over in the UK.
