Pinkish-Red spotting at 6.5 weeks with low back pain

Hi there,

I'm 6 1/2 weeks pregnant with 1 1/2 babies (dr. didn't think the second one would develop) and just noticed pinkish-red discharge when wiping. I also have low back pain.

Does anyone know what this is, or have you experienced it yourself?

I know brown blood is okay, but just not sure about the pinkish-red.

I am certainly no expert, but perhaps this is a sign of the second embryo not developing and miscarrying. Have you spoken to your RE? I was always told that as long as it is not heavy bleeding, things should be fine. However, I know this is not exactly comforting as any sign of blood freaked me out as well.
