I have a quick question about Beta numbers. We just did our 2nd IVF transfer on the 29th of Sept. 2 Frozen embryo's. Had 1st beta on the 8th 10 days after transfer. Doctor said would like to see number above 50 to 70. We came back with a number of 285. 2nd test tomorrow. Question is why so large of a number? Our 1st IVF had a 1st beta of 160 and the second beta around 280 had 3rd and BFN) Now we come in with these even higher numbers and nervious about the phone call tomorrow. When I read other posts most of the time the numbers are not that high on the 1st beta even for the 1st failed attempt.
Could be multipules. Soemtimes they are that high. Somwhere, I think in Sept/Oct thread someone has a link with beta ranges. Actually I see CT-Michelle just listed it on another thread. "Questions about betas" from today.

Any comments would be great.
285 is a great number and suggests solid implantation of a thriving embryo, but it's not an unusually high value. Could be twins, but can't tell. I think many posts are lower numbers because they are worried. Those not worried tend to not post.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
