Umbilical hernia anyone?

Umbilical hernia anyone?

I am gearing up for my next IVF, and have my first appt. with the RE on Nov. 17th. During my pregnancy, I developed quite a large umbilical hernia. I got the opinion of 2 different surgeons. They both said it is possible to go ahead with trying to get pregnant without repairing it. The second surgeon, however, was leaning towards repairing it first. Anyone out there experience going into pregnancy with an existing umbilical hernia? If so, would appreciate input as to how the pregnancy was, etc.
